What we do

Programs that put kids first

Everything we raise and every hour we give goes straight to work for young people in South Oakland County, Michigan.

Supporting Youth

Standing with young people in foster care and those aging out of the system.

Some of the kids who need us most are the ones moving through foster care — and the young adults who suddenly age out of the system with little to fall back on.

Supporting Youth is how our members show up for them: with practical help, encouragement and a community that keeps believing in them as they find their footing.

Fostering the Arts

Opening the door to music, creativity and the arts for local kids.

The arts build confidence, focus and joy — and they are often the first thing cut when budgets get tight. Fostering the Arts is our commitment to keeping creative opportunities within reach for young people across South Oakland County.

It's one more way our members put kids first: rallying the community so every young person has a chance to discover what they're capable of.

Part of something bigger

The Kiwanis way of serving

Our featured programs sit inside a wider commitment. As a Kiwanis club, here's how we think about the work.

01

A better community for children

Kiwanis exists to improve the world one child and one community at a time. Everything our club does points back to the kids and families of South Oakland County.

02

Hands-on service projects

Members give their time to local projects throughout the year — the kind of work that is easy to overlook but makes a neighborhood stronger.

03

Fellowship and leadership

Kiwanis is also friendship. We meet, we plan, we roll up our sleeves together, and we grow the next generation of community leaders along the way.

Help us do more for local kids

Whether you give an hour, a dollar or a career of service, there is a place for you here. Let's make our community a better place for kids — together.
